Steve Ballmer can become the owner of the basketball club Los Angeles Clippers

Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer may be the new owner of the basketball team of the NBA Los Angeles Clippers. According to local press, Ballmer should meet soon with Shelley and Donald Sterling, team owners to discuss the terms of purchase. Earlier, the U.S. insisted on the NBA Retired Donald Sterling for his racist behavior. Shortly thereafter, in the industry, there were rumors that the team can be sold at all family Sterling. Note that Ballmer still has not been seen in a special love for basketball, although his current status in the $ 20 billion purchase of such himself could well afford.

According to the newspaper TMZ, Ballmer has already discussed the likelihood of buying the team with Shelley Sterling. Several media reports say that Donald Sterling has actually been removed from the management team at the request of the NBA management. Other publications have noted that Ballmer did not burn particular desire to fly is a team of Los Angeles, instead he had originally planned to purchase the team from his native Seattle Seattle Supersonics, but the latter has ceased to exist, and moved to Oklahoma, now called Oklahoma City Thunder .

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal Ballmer said that he no longer works at Microsoft and de facto is not tied specifically to Seattle, so shopping in Los Angeles, too, can afford. In addition, he said that from his perspective Clippers today one of the most underrated NBA teams. Furthermore, he did not rule out that if he becomes the owner of Clippers, it will rebrand the team and will provide finance team. Today Clippers do not have their own arena and forced to share it with the other team from Los Angeles - Los Angeles Lakers. Note that a major American IT management is not a stranger to basketball. So, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen is the owner of basketball team Portland Trailblazers, whereas known IT investor Marc Kyuban manages Club Dallas Maverics.
