Google search will provide dietary Statistics


Internet giant Google has introduced a new technology to its search service. Responding to the demand of modern society in a more healthy and balanced meals, the company implemented the statistical data on more than 1,000 products. For example, if a user enters a search query string "apple" or "double cheeseburger", the search engine will give him not only the relevant links to the relevant pages, but also give background information about the number of calories contained in a given product, what is the ratio of protein , fats and carbohydrates, what the content of other elements such as calcium, iron etc..

As Google says that the new statistics system offers detailed nutritional statistics on the most popular types of classic dishes, different types of meat, dairy products, cereals, nuts and other common foods. However, while the statistics is only in the English version of the search engine. It is not known when it will work on the Russian.

 On the other hand, users can specify retrieval system quite specific questions relating to food, such as "how much protein is contained in bananas?" or "how many calories in an avocado?" the user and the search engine will provide the answer.
