South Korea publishes online map of North

South Korea's largest Internet portal Daum launched today in the open access digital maps of North Korea. Recall that the official did not give Pyongyang and does not give consent for the digital recording of their region, citing a threat to national security. Daum said in that earlier digital maps of North Korea were only available to commercial customers in South Korea.

According to the local newspaper "Chosun Ilbo," the author of the card is a South Korean National Institute of geography, which confirm the authenticity of the data on the map. Daum said in a statement that the map of North Korea aims to help South Korean companies and individuals in the study of the adjacent closed state. In addition, the online companies claim that access to the map can be done from a smartphone or tablet.
