Google releases Chrome 28 browser

Google releases Chrome 28 browser

Google today released Chrome 28 browser for Windows and Mac. The new version has an updated notification center, so far it's only available on Windows (as well as Chrome OS, where this innovation was implemented earlier). The latest version of the browser is not available in the system auto-update, but is available at google.com / chrome.

Note that the browser is Chrome 28 - is the first browser Google, built on the engine, Webkit, and in-house development Blink (Blink ID can be checked by Team chrome :/ / version /). Recall that the version of Chrome 28 under Linux system was released back on June 17, it is required for the operating system Ubuntu 12.04 +, Debian 7 +, OpenSuSE 12.2 +, and Fedora 17 +.

Previously, Chrome and Chrome OS already had basic support for Web notifications, but still had quite a notification primitive form, then as now Google has upgraded their look, and users can interact with the content in the notifications. Mac users also have their own notification center. The first version of this appeared in the center of Chromium from May this year. Besides innovation, Google has eliminated 16 security vulnerabilities browser Chrome. The list is available on the resolved bugs
