Nokia refused to release tablet-based Windows RT

         Internet edition of The Verge reports that Nokia has been literally on the verge of release internet tablet based on Windows RT. Edition managed to get from insiders in Nokia pictures of the device. The photo shows that the device is completely finished and ready for mass production. And yet, the Nokia decided not to release the gadget.

        Officially, Nokia never reported to be working on internet tablet, but unofficially such data in the industry were. Sources say that initially the Finnish company decided to release the tablet as an experiment, but seeing weak sales of Microsoft Surface tablet has decided to abandon the idea. Sources say that Nokia can come back to this idea of opening Windows RT 8.1, other sources say that Nokia has been discussing the idea of tablet-based full-featured Windows 8.1, which will be released this fall. Recall that in Windows RT 8.1 announced many new business features, including support for Outlook RT and interoperability with Microsoft services.

         The Verge reports that have not appeared tablet Nokia was working on a processor Nvidia Tegra 3, had ports USB, HDMI port and the magnetic power adapter (like Apple MaBook). Also the tablet were: support for LTE and a connector for SIM-cards. According to unofficial reports, Nokia even agreed with Taiwan's Compal Electronics on production batch of 200 000 tablets.
