BlackBerry will receive direct access to the Amazon Appstore


Canadian BlackBerry today announces an agreement with Amazon, under which it has gained access to the catalog of mobile applications Amazon Appstore. This agreement significantly expands the variety of mobile programs available for BlackBerry and increases the attractiveness of the system in the eyes of consumers. Partnership expands the current proposal in BlackBerry games, videos, music and other types of mobile content. 

For today BlackBerry has about 130,000 mobile applications in its own mobile catalog, against 1 million from Google and Apple, in this case, almost all of the most popular applications for BlackBerry is. Agreement with Amazon opens BlackBerry access to even approximately 240,000 applications, bringing total product offering up to 370 000 applications. In the BlackBerry client software pre-set plan for Amazon Appstore for selling smartphones based on BlackBerry 10. 

Technically, BlackBerry users 10 can install applications from the Amazon Appstore, but this process requires some technical expertise. The Agreement provides for significant automation of this process.
