Microsoft predicts growing shortage of technicians



     Microsoft predicts growth in demand for IT professionals. According to forecasts of the world's largest software maker, the world's educational system is not able to prepare IT professionals in the required amount in the next five years will be a shortage of skilled professionals, particularly in the field of cybersecurity. The report Cyberspace 2025: Today's Decisions, Tomorrow's Terrain software giant says that modern education industry need to focus on the so-called STEM, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. 

      According to Microsoft, technicians will be needed to support the development of global IT infrastructure facilities such as broadband Internet, cloud services, programming and related areas. Especially high demand for IT professionals in the coming years will be in emerging markets. Thus, in India is expected to increase broadband connections in 3000% 2025. In 2012, the country had 20 million broadband channels, whereas in 2025 this figure will rise to 700 million in the same period in the EU will be only 105 million new broadband connections (up to 143 million in 2012, 248 million in 2025). 

      Along with the growth of broadband will see an increase in demand for social Internet services, online banking, transfer of content. The forecast says Microsoft, in 2025 around the world will be no more than 16 million STEM-graduates, while broadband users will be more than a billion. The company says that this imbalance will be very noticeable.
