Red Hat RHEV 3.4 released with support for OpenStack and RHEL 7


Red Hat released on the eve of the latest version of its virtualization platform Enterprise Virtualization to build scalable infrastructures. Novelty was poddrezhku operating system Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, and tighter integration with OpenStack. New version of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.4 is available now, and according to the manufacturer, at its base, users can create flexible IT infrastructure for virtual environments. 

The new version of the traditional virtualization expanded functionality and added some new features, which asked users of previous versions of the product. Simultaneously with the full-featured support for RHEL 7, the company added the ability of the OS in guest mode and implemented new templates for deploying IT environments and their monitoring. 

The new version of Red Hat has also implemented a new update mechanisms to quickly translate the corporate fleet of equipment to new versions of the platform. In RHEV 3.4 developer also added new monitoring capabilities previously created and already functioning virtual machines. was also added the ability to monitor RHEV-manager protocol via SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). 

Among other new features are a mechanism to update and synchronize network configurations work with many hosts and support for multiple storage protocols within a single infrastructure such as iSCSI, NFS, Fibre Channel and Gluster. As for closer integration with OpenStack, here there the ability to use Glance-images as templates, and support modules Neutron OpenStack Network.
