Amazon has patented technology E-Book Extras



       The company received an unusual Amazon patent, which extends the concept of e-book. Internet retailer received a patent for the "extra content" for electronic books. The company has patented a system of e-books, which provides for the possibility of obtaining an automated content that is somehow related to the theme of the book.

        The application for the patent was filed by another 24 November 2010. system E-book Extras, as they say in the Amazon, is aimed at expanding the information available to the buyer of the book, which has a positive impact on the involvement of the consumer in the process of reading.

         In the Amazon patent describes a system with reference to the reader Kindle, which in the case of the E-book Extras could provide the reader with additional interviews with authors, materials not included in the book, new illustrations, or even media materials, such as audio and video recordings.

         In the Amazon say that the new system is useful and interesting for content providers to get new channels for distribution of materials, as well as to consumers who bought the book, but want to get some additional content associated with it.
