Final release of Qt 5.1 environment
Finnish software developer Digia today announced the release environment Qt 5.1, which received the full support of the operating systems Android and iOS. In comparison with the beta and release candidate, the stable version of Qt has received a significant boost in performance to Android and iOS.
Recall that Qt supports Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, as well as mobile and embedded operating systems, such as a special version of Linux and Windows Embedded. How to tell the Finnish developers, the new version of Qt 5.1 has received the full support of Qt Creator 2.7 IDE, as well as a new set of API-functions.
In total, Qt 5.1 was made about 3000 modifications, in particular: the new online installers, support Android development on Windows 32 bit, Linux - 32 and 64 bit; MinGW, updated to version 4.8.0, the installer for 32-bit VS2012, too - for all packages with update gathered VS2012 SP2. To build Qt has been removed dependency on Perl (but still remains a need for Perl to build WebKit)
