Groupon will book seats in restaurants


         Group buying service Groupon opens a new trend of business in the United States. The company offers an online booking service at restaurants, which will work to complement the pre-existing service lunches and breakfasts discount on those or other catering companies.

         Analysts say Groupon experiences a drop in demand for web coupons intended cashing in restaurants and trying to somehow replace the shortfall in revenue line. Groupon Reserve The new service will only work as long as the United States, and so far only in the 10 largest cities in the country, particularly in the New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC and San Francisco. 

         Until the end of 2013 it is planned nationwide expansion of the service. Experts disagree about the prospects of such a service, even though their own services of restaurant reservations in the U.S. demand.

         Today in the U.S. online booking system quite well developed. Coverage is now leading system OpenTable, which specializes in restaurant-bar theme. Groupon said in a statement that later Reserve System will also cover areas such as spa, travel, entertainment, hotels and others.
