MTS introduces a unified monitoring system VAS-platforms

The new system based on an industrial multi-vendor solutions EMC Smarts and has the ability to monitor various network, computer equipment and applications using a variety of methods to collect event and configuration information - ICMP, SNMP, Syslog. monitoring system has a modular architecture with distributed software georezervirovaniya all the regional components redundant components and the local central module.
The logical architecture solutions built on the topology of the "star" of rays in the form of collectors in each macro-region, whose functions include the collection and preliminary analysis of "raw" data from the VAS-platforms in their region (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok), and the central unit in Moscow, performing the consolidation, aggregation and presentation of all the information gathered by collectors.
Currently the system is used more than 50 employees of the Department of Network Operations MTS headquarters and macro-regional offices, asking for support of the VAS-platforms.
