SpaceX won a contract to launch three more satellites

Private space company Space Exploration Technologies today announced the signing of two new commercial contracts for the withdrawal of the German radar satellite satellite network. According to SpaceX, German OHB-Systems AG and Astrium GmbH plan to use SpaceX launch services to bring two of the three new spacecraft that will carry a radar reconnaissance in the interests of German spies in the Ministry of Defence of Germany.

First two small satellites OHB-System should be run in a single launch on the launch vehicle SpaceX Falcon-9, while the larger unit Astrium will send one on a rocket Falcon-9. The launches are expected in 2018 and 2019. This contract is the first for SpaceX in European government environment.  According to him, the three new devices will replace the current five-satellite constellation created by OHB.
