Marvell announced a mobile chip Armada 1500-mini

      The developer of mobile electronics Marvell Technologies today introduced a new media processor Armada 1500-mini, designed for strimming "live" content on the handheld mobile devices. In Marvell say that the new works including the new Google TV platform Chromecast. Chromecast is a 35-dollar DEVICE, which runs through the HDMI-port, transmitting real-time video content from the Internet using WiFi. At Marvell said that the chip Armada 1500-mini is designed to work with HD-quality video and allows a high level of energy efficiency to transmit audio, video and graphics from remote resources.

     "It's designed for instant access to applications such as YouTube, Netflix and other systems of cloud content," - say the developers. Marvell also told that the new product can be placed in tablets, smartphones, set-top boxes and other portable equipment that can operate with HDTV. The chip in the hardware supports HDTV and has the support of today's popular video codecs
