Estonia places on the internet source of online voting
Estonia, the first in the world to organize a nationwide system of Internet voting in the election, has placed in the public domain source code of the software responsible for the operation of the system. Earlier, the Estonian system of online voice has been criticized and now its authors intend to dispel all doubts about the fairness and objectivity of the design.

While the developers did not put the source code of client parts of the system, as it can play into the hands of criminals, spoofs of receiving votes. Besides tog, he noted that Estonia is now rolling out certain procedures that would allow the code to ensure authenticity. Recall that in Estonia, the so-called digital certificates handed out to citizens since 2007.
They are available to all citizens of legal residents. Cards use a public key encryption cipher-length sequence of 2048 bits. Also with the help of digital certificates, citizens have the ability to perform various online applications to public authorities.
